- How will the Brandeis University Annual Fund contact me?
Annual Fund appeals are mailed to alumni, parents and friends of the University throughout each academic year. In some cases, a student may call you on the telephone seeking support for the Annual Fund.
- If I contribute early in the year, will I still receive other Annual Fund mailings?
No. Once your donation has been received you will be removed from our Annual Fund mailing list for the remainder of the current fiscal year. You will, however, continue to receive the Brandeis Review and other University publications (including special appeals for an additional gift).
- What are matching gifts?
Matching gifts are company-donated contributions that match the contributions made by employees. Sometimes your gift will be matched on a one-to-one or even two-to-one basis. Matching gifts that are received in your name are counted towards the Recognition Societies giving levels.
- What are Brandeis's Recognition Societies?
The Justice Brandeis Society recognizes the support of alumni, parents and friends each fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Participation in the Justice Brandeis Society entitles members to invitations to special events that are held on campus and in select cities throughout the country each year. Your contributions are recognized in our Report on Giving that is published in the fall of each year; however, the most important benefit is the satisfaction of knowing that your gifts play a crucial role in maintaining Brandeis as a world class University.

Emerging Leaders
This giving society was especially designed for alumni who have graduated within the last ten years. Alumni contributing at least $100 multiplied by the number of years since graduation will be considered members of the Emerging Leaders Program and will receive the same benefits as members of the Justice Brandeis Society.
- How does Reunion Giving relate to the Brandeis University Annual Fund?
Every five years Alumni have the "formal" opportunity to return to campus to renew friendships and make new ones with classmates and others who celebrate their graduation anniversary during reunion. In honor of these important milestones, the Brandeis University Annual Fund has a special Reunion Giving Campaign.
