Corporate and Foundation Relations: For Corporations

Brandeis University is a distinctive institution.  We are a young university:  founded in 1948, Brandeis rapidly entered the ranks of the leading universities.  We are a small university:  with only 5,000 students, opportunities abound for close interaction between faculty and students, at all levels.  We are non-sectarian – we impose no religious tests or requirements – but we are a university founded and supported by the American Jewish community.

Brandeis is a university that cares deeply about the uses to which knowledge is put.  As a research institution we are committed to the advancement of knowledge, not only for its own sake, but as the key to enhancing well-being and prosperity.  As a liberal arts institution, we are committed to equipping students with the essential skills and habits of mind that will enable them to be productive workers and responsible citizens in a rapidly changing world.  We measure our educational success by the difference that our graduates make in the world.

In the 21st century, universities such as Brandeis are not cloistered institutions, but active participants in the social and economic life of the nation and the world.  We welcome the opportunity to work with corporations toward our common goals.
