The Office of Donor Relations, within the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, plays a vital role in the University’s relationship with our donors, thanking alumni and friends for their support of students, faculty members, and other initiatives, and helping to strengthen donors’ relationships with the University.
We work closely with the University president and senior vice president of institutional advancement to provide stewardship reports, donor recognition events, and appropriate signage and recognition on campus -- all to reinforce the value and impact of our donors’ gifts for Brandeis. In addition, we ensure that all endowed funds are utilized responsibly by the University, as intended by the donor.
The Donor Relations team provides written acknowledgement of the most generous gifts made to the University, written reports on endowed funds, donor recognition events such as our annual Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon, and the creation of plaques and other signage. In addition, working closely with the Offices of the Treasurer and Budget and Planning, we ensure that all endowed funds are utilized properly on an annual basis, according to the donor’s intent.
